I got one of these recently and it has made an unbelievable difference!!!! I am always traveling with my laptop and I even bought the fancy and expensive bag to make my traveling a little easier. The amount that I spent on the bag was MANY times the cost of the orthotote, but the Orthotote has been much more valuable. This device is truly wonderful. I can now stand straight while carrying my computer. I don't just use it for my laptop, though, I put it on any bag I use. I never thought it would be possible. I highly recommend this for everyone!

It's amazing how a simple concept like Orthotote can literally change one's life. As a laptop-toting road warrior, I was forever paranoid about losing my 'life' if my precious PC slipped off my shoulder and hit the ground as I was running to catch a plane (too many close calls.) Now I can walk straight -- or run when necessary -- and know that my precious 'puter will stay put. I use Orthotote for my gym bag as well. Maybe I won't become the next Quasimodo after all. This product is fantastic. For a mother on the go I use it for many bags...it keeps my heavy diaper bag on my shoulder when I am juggling my toddler and my stoller. It also keeps my carry on, on my shoulder comfortably when I am standing on long security lines in the airport. I am petite and don't have a lot of "padding"...this product prevents heavy bags from digging into my shoulder. It is great because it is not stuck on one bag like some "shoulder pads" are. You can take this on and off most bags....Great invention....quality product.

I carry around a mobile office - laptop and associated gear, portfolio with papers, etc. I like to use a backpack for comfort, but it looks goofy with a suit, so I recently switched to a shoulder bag. I happened upon an orthotote and it is a Godsend! The weight doesn't shift around and I have much less discomfort when I have to carry the bag for several blocks. and the bag doesn't slip off my shoulder. For such a small investment, it's a great buy.

Too many mad dashes to the gate to count. Too many times slinging my laptop or carry-on from the crook of my elbow. I saw this in a magazine spot and tried it. It was crazy!! Walking or even running hands free? Naaaaaah! Not possible. W R O N G!! I put this sucker on and my world changed. Best of all no more post traumatic stress syndrome - you know, the sore neck, back, shoulder by the time you get to the seat? I feel much more balanced and regained the use of BOTH hands? Near miracle. I tried it in the NY subway system, and it even worked there!!
